Priority 1: Improved outcomes for all

Raising Attainment through Wellbeing and Learning

"The highest quality of education for every child, every day."

All children feel safe and valued and have a strong sense of purpose and meaning.

All teachers and practitioners across the federation are confident as to what high quality teaching and learning looks like. They are enabled to teach consistently in this way in order to raise attainment. School environments are set up and maintained in a manner which enables all children to feel a strong sense of belonging and safety in order to be able to learn effectively. Adults understand the link between wellbeing and learning and strive to meet the needs of the whole child, not just the academic needs.

Children thrive as successful, independent learners who are confident to approach and overcome challenges in their learning. Children love to learn and understand that not knowing is an important starting point. Our teaching is research informed and developed through reflective practice and targeted CPD. Oracy and literacy are at the heard of all we do. Every child is known well. Parent partnerships are strong. Meaningful, timely interventions with adults support children to be successful, build confidence and close gaps.
